Surrounded by the gorgeous cherry blossoms of Washington DC and a spring sunrise we set out to walking our nations capital. Seeing the Washington Monument outlined by the rising red sun is an experience I likely won't have again. One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is having the opportunity to be part of these moments with amazing clients.

Katie & Ryne's wedding was my first visit to the Lewis Family Farm, and it could not have been a better introduction. A crisp fall day greeted us which was perfect for a couple that wanted nothing else but to be wrapped up in each other’s arms. Katie and Ryne are some of the sweetest people and I feel honored that they let me be part of their special day.
Waking up at 4:45am really isn’t my jam. Is it really anyone’s jam though? Maybe marathon runners? Bakers? Baristas? DM me if you have the answers. That being said I will always wake up before the sun for something amazing. If you have a unique idea for an engagement session, like Moraine State Park at sunrise, throw it at me. Alysia & Rob are water people. They are good people. They have a fancy speedboat but instead of using that they elected to take Rob’s Grandfathers 1968 duck boat out for this shoot. Family means something to them and that means something to me. We cruised across the lake as the fog lifted and the sun peaked out. The view was spectacular and the company even better.
