Gabby and Garrett started the day with an emotional first look on a balcony overlooking downtown Pittsburgh. These two really love each other, and that came through immediately. We headed to Washington’s Landing afterward, one of my favorite places for finding little hidden portrait spots and great pockets of light, before sneaking onto a parking garage rooftop for a completely different view of the city. The reception brought everything back home. Quite literally. Gabby’s parents transformed their property into a tented reception space, giving them a chance to celebrate somewhere that already meant a lot to their family. There’s something pretty special about throwing a huge party with all of your favorite people in a place that already has years of memories attached to it.
